As networked computer systems are increasingly employed in all types of organisation, there is a growing demand for System Administrators
who can ensure the network operating environment is running at optimum capacity. This is a skilled position within the organisation and requires individuals who are technically trained and certified in appropriate vendor qualifications and management skills.
The Scottish Academy has been set up to meet this need for individuals and organisations operating within the Scottish business community.
Participants work towards Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) certification together with the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) Introductory Diploma in Management which includes a work-based practical project.
What does the training entail?
The System Administrator training programme consists of a blended mix of day release and online course material augmented by a mentored work based project. Training is delivered by qualified tutors using Microsoft Official Curriculum and ILM approved course materials.
